There are 3 words that I have hear uttered often, and I want to shine a light on them and share how they are holding you back in business and life.
They’re ninja words, because you probably haven’t noticed these three words slip through your lips…
Three simple words that I’m guessing you’ve said yourself, and not even noticed.
These three words could be responsible for you working harder than you need to be.
Holding you back from making the money you want to be making.
Missing out on opportunities that you’d love to have (and others are getting).
Let me give you an example:
I was on a call a few weeks back with someone (let’s call him Mike for the sake of this story), and we were talking about podcasting.
Mike said to me, “Podcasting takes up so much time, how do you release two episodes per week, along with everything else you have going on?”
I said, “well I wouldn’t be able to do it without the help of my team…”
Then Mike said those 3 ninja words…
Here’s another example:
I was chatting with **Julie (** due to privacy, not her real name), and we were chatting about some of the opportunities I’ve had this year, including being on the judging panel for the Stevie Awards – Women In Business.
And she audibly gasped, and said those 3 ninja words.
There are so many other conversations I’ve had where these ninja words have slipped out of their mouths.
These words are holding you back.
Dis-empowering you.
Stopping you from achieving the things that you really, really want.
Have you guessed what they are?
Let me tell you…
“You’re so lucky”
Seems harmless on the surface.
You’re so lucky.
They don’t sound that bad do they?
But the people who have more clients, who have a team, who get various opportunities in their business are not lucky.
They haven’t achieved their results due to luck.
They achieved their results by taking action. They made it happen.
They asked themselves resourceful questions like, “What would I need to do, to enable me to hire my first team member?”
So if you’re ready to take luck out of the equation, take these 3 ninja words out of your vocabulary.
